Developing an HVB Early Career Researcher Network

Early Career Researcher Meeting, Kings Manor, York, 9th December

ECRs from academia and industry are invited to register for this free one day event for networking, discussions and lunch. This small, informal event will begin to create our ECR community – we will discuss and consult on future events and activities, consider the best mechanisms for networking and recruit an organising committee for the ECR 2022 Workshop.

Registration: Places are allocated on a first come, first-served basis and booking will close once the event is full.

Venue: The meeting will be held at Kings Manor, Exhibition Square, York YO1 7EP. This central location is a short walk from the train station.

Travel: As this is a consultation event, we will contribute to your travel. The registration form asks you to indicate if you would like a return rail ticket for the event: please provide details of your starting railway station and a postal address for the tickets. (Please add a note detailing which train time you prefer otherwise we will organise the ticket that best matches the event times). To receive free rail travel, you must book by 26 November 2021. This is the only travel expense we can contribute. Hotel accommodation may be provided for participants whose journeys are over 4 hours in duration.
